It is amazing how technology can change the gesture of sending a photo into a federal crime. More and more in the headlines you see how parents are being charged with child pornography just because they took pictures of their kids in the bath tub and sent them to their grandparents. There was also a case I over heard on the Michael Baisden Radio Show where these two kids almost got charged with child pornography for sending explicit pictures to eachother through their cell phones and got caught. Luckily no charges were filed. This would have ruined both of their lives and they would forever be known as a child pornographer, which would go on their records for life. This law knows no boundaries and does not descriminate regardless of age. Getting your picture taken can still be fun, but you have to be careful what pictures you put out there for all to see. Even harmless bathing suit pictures can be considered child pornography and can ruin your life.
You also must be careful who is taking your picture. When you are in a dressing room always check for hidden cameras or holes in walls and floors before you remove any clothing. You never know where prying eyes and lenses could be lurking. Some women that were unknowingly photographed while changing in a tanning salon changing room found that out the hard way. It is still ok to smile for the camerea, but be aware where all the cameras are, so your smile today won't change to a frown tomorrow.
